Dear All,

One of my Xerox WorkCentre 7245 machines is displaying the error code 009-936 on power-up. Won't do anything. I suspect that it is a Xerographic fault as these generally start with 009. My documentation only goes up to 009-933.

Prior to the fault going solid, the machine was experiencing these two issues:

1) On scanning, the first page would usually scan OK, then subsequent pages would be almost completely black. The print would appear in the black areas with a sort of white halo effect around it. It was intermittent, occasionally all would be good and other times all would be bad.

2) On print (and possibly copy) occasionally parts of the print would be blurred.

Any assistance much appreciated!

regards - Alex

I think we have fixed the error code and the second issue, which seems to unrelated to the first one. Replacing faulty unexpired print cartridge sort this.

Still got the scanning problem - no error codes now - No difference scanning to Network Drive or to local Mailbox. First page OK next looks like the attached pdf.
