OPC drum damage
« on: September 27, 2008, 12:24:32 PM »
HI,

I have a problem with the OPC drum. The drum has two small damages (OPC layer peeled off) and black dots appear on those corresponding areas.

Is there any solution/liquid that can be applied on those damaged areas of the OPC drum so that the damaged area can be made balnk so the black dots wont appear on the prints.

I would appreciate if anybody can give me some tips on this.

Try nail polish...it's conveniently packaged and dries fast....but don't expect it to last forever...

White out works as well. Let it dry thoroughly before you reinstall the drum.
